The title of this magazine is partly covered by the main image on the cover. The fact that the whole title is not visible shows that the magazine is so well known that it is not necessary for the whole name to be shown. What we can see of the title is bright red and this stands out against the black background. The main image of the magazine is of Andrew Garfield. He is not posing as himself though, he is posing as his character, spiderman. This is therefore showing the audience the character rather than the actor. Over the top of the image is the title 'The Amazing Spider-Man'. This is written in fairly big writing which makes it clearly visible to the audience. The words 'The Amazing' are in white writing and the words 'Spider-Man' are in yellow. These both stand out against the background of spiderman. The reason for the two different colours in this heading could be perhaps because it will make the audience pick out the words spider man which relate entirely to the image. Covering the majority of the cover is white line crossing over each other. This is supposed to represent the spider webs that spider-man uses in the films. This gives the audience something else to relate to. There is not much writing around the outside of the cover. This could be because there is more focus on the image rather than text around the outside.
